In other news, my friend has finally relented and has begun to read a book I lent her. She has put aside her James Patterson’s and instead opened Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Woo! I am taking this as a huge personal win.

I’m not one of those people that influence others. I hope my suggestions are taking on board, but they rarely are. So I was happy when she sent the following text yesterday: “You’ll be happy to know I’m reading Harry Potter. I’m on page 31…” This is when my happiness turned to me clutching at my side with laughter due to the total unexpectedness “…Wow. The Dursleys are a pack of cunts”

AVPS – A Very Potter Sequel

It’s been up for like a week now and yet I haven’t watch past Act 1 scene 9. What I’ve seen so far has been funny, just not A Very Potter Musical funny. The songs aren’t as catchy, and the new arrivals are a mixed bunch – Lupin, I’m loving, (L: “I was your dad’s best friend” H: “Really? I thought the traitor Sirius Black was my dads best friend” Lupin looking disheartened “Wh..who told you that. Did your dad tell you that?” H: “Well I didn’t get to talk to him much after he died.” Lupin looking relieved “Good, its probably just hearsay so”) But Umbridge, not so much.
I’ve also come the conclusion – I REALLY hate Ginny. She was annoying in the first one, but the rest was so funny I could get past that. But in this one is makes me want to choke her to death.

And that’s probably why I haven’t been to eager to go back to view the rest. That and the fact that I’ve been watching the Potion Masters corner instead. So funny. I loved the Potion Master from the first A Very Potter Musical. Putting him as interviewer is just plain epicness!
