In other film trailer news…yes that’s right…X-men: First Class. So super excited for this film. And I was excited BEFORE the very hot sex dream I had about Prof X and Magneto the other night…yes, that’s right, there was three of us. It’s OK, it was McAvoy and Fassbender. Not Stewart and McKellen (though is it odd that I wouldn’t say no to McKellen? OK, it is odd. He is gay after all…but still…would totes hit that!)

*allow me to embed a video of my favourite Sir Ian performance*
This is going to be filed under rumour because so many times have I heard these type of things, but rarely ever does it happen.
The trailer for Deathly Hallows part II is to be shown before Red Riding Hood in March.
If you think about it, it kind of makes sense.
1. Both are Warner Brothers
2. You need to entice people into see a film that is obviously a Twilight rip-off.
But going back to my previous “if you think about it, it kinda makes sense” line. This is Hollywood. When has that place ever made sense?
The date and special features were announced during the week. Allow me to draw your attention to the deleted scenes, mainly the ones I italicised…

The Dursley House: Harry and Aunt Petunia As They Leave House
The Dursley House: Harry and Dudley Shake Hands
The Granger House: Death Eaters Search Deserted Home
Ministry of Magic Lifts: Harry Tells Arthur He’s Being Tracked
Tent: Trio Discusses Destroying The Locket
Rabbit Chase in the Forest
Montage: Ron and Hermione Skimming Stones

On the Green with Rupert, Tom, Oliver, and James

The Return of Griphook
Arrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I was a little pissed that there was no shining moment from Dudders and I love the last exchange between Harry/Petunia. Well it was less an exchange and more…I don’t know how to describe it, but I really wanted to see Petunia struggle with what she wanted to say. I wanted to shake and hit her so much in the book. I wanted to see it on screen.
Harry telling Mr Weasley he’s being tracked was another thing I wanted to see. Mr Weasely showing his true colours by not backing down to a Harry who he thinks is Runcorn. Love him!!!
Release date is April 11th. The countdown is on 🙂
*sniff* Remember that little kid with the pudgy round face whose broomstick took off and he fell, breaking his wrist? Well he became a man. He became Neville “I’ve had it with these motherfucking snakes” Longbottom!!!!
New still from DH2. I can’t wait for his shining moment! It was one of the best in the whole series. Actually all Neville in Deathly Hallows was great. He grew so much, I couldn’t help but wipe away a little tear and think “so proud.” lol. And I definately blubbered my way through the Hogs Head passageway scene when he tells the trio about letter his grandmother sent him.
So it’s the morning after I saw Deathly Hallows. What to say, what to say?
I am as I was last night while the credits were rolling, speechless. It was all swimming around and around in my head last night and then this morning when I woke up. I tried to organise my chaotic thoughts last night by scribbling down what I loved and what I didn’t. I won’t say ‘hated’ as that too strong a word to associate with my beloved Potter, disappointed would be more apt. But I’m still not labelling anything disappointing just yet because I’ve yet to judge Deathly Hallows part I as a film, and had just judged it by the books and my own imagining of the Wizarding World. That’s never a good idea.
*MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*

Got this link from Tom Felton’s twitter page (yes, I know – twitter, how embarrassing, but it’s the only way I can keep up with a very good friend so I stick with it for that)
It’s a fun list. Not the order I’d put them in. And I definitely wouldn’t put Arthur Weasely in there while leaving out Jason Issac and Alan Rickman. Purrr-lease!
I also agree – Cedric is hotter than Edward. (Not to mention, has much more depth to his character than Edward.) I definitely sniff a lot more at Cedric’s death than I do at Sirius in the films. Mainly because its heart-breaking when Amos is screaming “that’s my son, that’s my boy” *sob* Whereas Sirius gets sucked up and into the veil. He is suppose to fall through it!!!! It’s just not the same emotionally when you mentally screaming at the film-makers.
So excited I just had to share. I just pre-booked my tickets for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. *does happy dance*
Can’t bloody wait!!!!! Been watching the trailer again too. Oooooh super exciting! Although I am refusing to watch all the clips that have sprung up online in recent days. It’s hard, but I’m doing it. I know if I watch them all now, it’ll spoil a lot of the film for me, so I am resisting.
I just have to wait a few more days, it won’t be long now, until I see the movie, then I will go back through the news feed on The Leaky Lounge and view the clips. That way the film won’t be spoiled for me, yet I still get to see the trailers. And seeing the trailers after the film will make me want to go see the film again. Which is the plan because I promised my nephews I’d bring them. It’s sort of our tradition.
I couldn’t possibly bring them opening night. They are the type to ask questions during the film like “why did he do that?”, “what’s that thing for?”, “what did he just say when I said ‘whats that thing for’?” etc
Especially when its for films that I’ve not seen. I mean like, how the fuck am I to know why a person did something when it hasn’t been explained in the script yet – just shut up and watch the fucking film!
